Why did BioTE change the look of their nutraceuticals?

It is with great excitement that we announce that BioTE has a new strategic partnership with Thorne and Calroy Health Sciences for the production of BioTE Nutraceuticals, including the new “CORE+” line — the essential nutraceuticals every BioTE patient needs.  Our nutraceutical line is being expanded and rebranded as “CORE+.” The addition to the original products is the vascular health product, Arterosil.

IMPORTANT:  Appearance & Labeling: There will be a time of transition in the appearance of the nutraceutical bottle labels. During the transition, you will receive some products with the labels you are currently used to, some with Thorne’s and/or Calroy’s label, and some with the new BioTE private label. Over the next 120-160 days, all labels will make a final transition to the new BioTE label.

Thorne will be providing 6 of these products:

BioTE DIM SGS+ :  This product is a new and improved DIM which not only contains DIM (important for phase I detoxification) but also has the added ingredients of sulforaphane and ellagic acid (pomegranate extract). These additional ingredients are important in supporting phase II enzymes. The appearance of the product will be different from the prior BioTE DIM.

BioTE Multi-Strain Probiotic 20B: A multi-strain probiotic with 20 billion organisms that is currently sold by Thorne under the name FloraSport 20B. This product is individually packaged in blister packs and is very convenient for travel. The dose is 1 daily rather than 2 daily as was recommended with our prior BioTE Probiotic. Thorne Bacillus Coagulans : Another terrific probiotic option, Bacillus coagulans (also known as Lactobacillus sporogenes) is a lactic acid-producing bacteria that is unique in probiotic supplementation. While this beneficial bacteria is dormant in the bottle, it reverts to a growing bacteria in the intestines. As a result, it resists being killed by stomach acid; in contrast, many Lactobacillus probiotics lose much of their potency before use and do not survive their transit through the stomach.

BioTE Omega 3 w/CoQ10: This product is a new and improved Omega formulation which not only contains high-quality fish oils (EPA and DHA), but also contains CoQ10.  Quite often, individuals supplementing with fish oil for cardiovascular support can also benefit from the antioxidant and energy-promoting activity of coenzyme Q10.  Thorne’s Omega-3 w/CoQ10 offers fish oil with 450 mg of EPA and 180 mg of DHA in each gelcap, along with CoQ10.  Combining CoQ10 with fish oil provides the benefits of both nutrients while enhancing the absorption of CoQ10.

BioTE Curcumin SF: This same curcumin formula that is currently sold by Thorne under the name Throne Meriva 500-SF.

BioTE Methyl Factors+: The same methylated vitamin B formula that is currently sold by Thorne under the name Methyl-Guard Plus.

BioTE ADK5 , ADK10 and Iodine+ :  No changes to these high-quality formulations, other than minor changes to the label.
