What is HistDAO used for?
Unlike standard digestive enzymes that support digestion, this enzyme has been clinically tested and proven to break down food-derived histamine in the digestive tract. Histamine is a bioactive or “vasoactive” amine produced in the body in response to injury or foreign substances. It has a variety of physiological effects, including increasing blood flow to specific areas of the body. Additionally, histamine plays a role in the immune response, regulates gastric acid secretion, affects the permeability of blood vessels, influences muscle contraction, and contributes to the typical response to inflammation.
